FLIPS
First Flip House
I was grateful to recently take on my first full home remodel for a home that my family would not live in. We purchased the home when a friend from our church had to move suddenly. There was quite a bit of work to do, starting with donating, removing and cleaning up years of built up stuff (five dump trucks plus many additional trailer runs). After that, home improvements included a full kitchen remodel, new LVP flooring throughout, replacing of dated heating and cooling appliances with a three-head mini split, replacing front planter and posts, bathroom update, painting the interior and exterior, recoating the roof and landscaping work.
Overall the home was remodeled and sold in six months while working full time. Being part of the beautiful transformation of this home was a blast and I am eager to find another one soon.
Flip Round 2
We were happy to pick up the second flip house in Stockton through a bank foreclosure. Code violations from a car hitting the house and other neglected maintenance were headaches for the bank that we inherited when we bought the property. After the violations were cleared, we continued on a full rehab of the two bed, one bath house including a new kitchen, bath, refinishing the hardwood floors and other updates. I did much of the rehab along with my full time employee and team of subcontractors in Stockton in just under three months while working on other projects. I worked with a great realtor and stager to get the home under contract in roughly two weeks and sold a month after. Looking forward to starting the next one!
Flip House #3
Project has begun in early November of 2025
This nearly 1,600 square foot house is our largest flip yet. The three bed, two bath home built in 1910 has lots of original woodwork and charm. We have plans to update the kitchen, baths and hardwood floors while eliminating some funky DIY add on’s that have come about over the years.
I am always on the lookout for a home in need of serious repair - if you or someone you know has one that they need to sell feel free to reach out!
